The mission of ZeeBee’s Heart Foundation is to break barriers to the access of lifesaving skills and education by equipping youth and communities with CPR, AED, and First - Aid training, so more people, especially our young scholars, are prepared to act quickly in life-threatening emergencies.
Inspired by the survival story of the founder’s nephew, Zaharius Hillmon Baker (ZeeBee), who suffered sudden cardiac arrest during his Senior year of playing high school basketball. Two of his young, certified teammates knew CPR, applied their training, and saved his life. The Foundation was created to turn a life-changing moment of pain, into a committed, lifesaving community movement. Today, ZeeBee’s Heart Foundation has certified, led initiatives and trained more than 20,000 individuals, inspiring new generations of confident, resilient lifesavers across communities.
Additionally, through the distribution of AED's to organizations and public spaces where recreational gatherings are lacking this tool: we can effectively start to combat the increase in mortality due to sudden cardiac arrest, especially in our young scholar-athletes.

We believe that health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. Although Sudden Cardiac Arrest is not preventable, there are steps to take to detect potential risk factors.
We strive to promote overall Heart Health and heart saving life-skills through every class, event and program we‘re engaged in.

After witnessing ZeeBee go into Cardiac arrest, in January of 2021, right after dunking the ball over his opponent to go into halftime; we realized the true significance of CPR and the importance for athletes to understand how to use an AED just as certified bystanders and trained medical professionals would. CPR wasn’t a focus point and didn’t matter much, until it did.
After being placed in a medically induced coma for 3 days, ZeeBee woke up, ready to communicate. CPR saved ZeeBee’s life. ZeeBee is a walking miracle.
Two weeks later, he underwent open heart surgery to correct a genetic heart anomaly.
Today; he’s pursuing his NBA dreams once again and we’re teaching, changing and saving lives together!

Let’s be honest; emergencies happen anywhere at anytime. ”Stay ready so you don’t have to ge ready” surely applies here! Our Professionally trained BLS, First-Aid & CPR instructors are committed to providing fun, upbeat & innovative classes to ensure you are confident and comfortable with your new lifesaving skillset.
